She is currently working on her fourth collection, two fiction projects, and is in the process of creating poetry films in collaboration with other artists.
Through writing, Clare aims to move dialogue beyond the comfort zone and expand communications channels. She prefers to view words as invaluable wake-up calls – rather than weapons. Clare is passionate about topics relating to social equality, collective consciousness and emotional development, and is committed to integrating them in both work and practice. As Otto Rank put it, “what we achieve inwardly will change outer reality.”
Teamwork and group projects have always played a massive part in Clare’s approach to writing and creativity, and not only on an energetic or socio-political level. Clare strongly believes that thoughts and ideas acquire multiple layers when people open themselves up to the influences of others. Clare also works as an artist, translator and teacher.
