“What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. Don’t complain.”Maya Angelou, Wouldn’t Take Nothing for My Journey Now

I work as a writer, poet, copywriter, translator and teacher. Having grown up in London with a powerful sense of wanderlust, I automatically felt drawn towards foreign cultures, languages and literature and have spent most of my working life to date abroad: namely Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and Greece.

Over the past decade, my creative and emotional base has been Berlin, where I’ve undertaken various literary projects in addition to visual art and dance: Human interaction and the expansion of communication channels have been a main focal area, combining both body and mind. The nature of my work means being committed to an intensive process of self-development on various levels: Authenticity and self-truth come first.

The Oranges of Revolution (Smokestack Books), was launched in April 2015. My first collection, Copyrighting War and other Business Sins, published by Olympia Publishers, hit the bookshelves at the beginning of September 2011. I have contributed to three Anthologies: Kakania – An Anthology (Austrian Cultural Forum 2015), Emergency Verse – Poetry in Defence of the Welfare State (Caparison 2011) and The Robin Hood Book – Verse versus Austerity (Caparison 2011) . My poetry has been published in numerous magazines including: The Recusant, The Sentinel Literary Quarterly, The Interpreter’s House, Red Poets, Inclement, Square, Platform, Neon Highway, Pennine Ink, Pulse Berlin and Pure Poetry.

I have performed at a broad range of spoken word and online radio events in and around London, including Keats House, The Whitechapel Gallery, Housmans Radical Booksellers, The Poetry Café, Borders Books, ULU,  Apples & Snakes, The Sentinel Literary Festival, UTTER!, Catweazle, Y Tuesday, BEAT, Velvet Tongue, The Camden School of Enlightenment, Words and Music in the Woods, Kiss the Sky, Unity 101 Radio and Lit Media Reviews Online Radio. I am currently working on a novel and play, as well as further collections… Watch this space!
